A guide to returns, 14-day withdrawal policy, and refund process

Right of Withdrawal (14 days)

You can withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days from the day you received the product, without needing to state a reason. To exercise this right, you just need to explicitly inform us (e.g., email) within the deadline.

⚠️ Important for Food Products:

You are allowed to inspect the product to the extent that you would in a physical store (e.g., opening packaging for inspection, basic visual check). Food products must be sealed, unused, and within their expiry date. If the product has been opened or consumed, a return cannot be accepted for reasons of hygiene and food safety.

How to Make a Return (step-by-step)

Step 1: Declaration of Withdrawal

Send an email to info@melikaredi.gr with: Full Name, Order Number, Delivery Date, Product(s), contact phone number.

Step 2: Receive Instructions

You will receive return instructions and, if necessary, a return code/reference.

Step 3: Packaging

Properly package the product to prevent damage during transport. Food products must be kept in appropriate conditions.

Step 4: Shipping

Ship the product within 14 days of declaring your withdrawal, using a courier of your choice.

Exceptions (when withdrawal does not apply)

Legislation provides for certain cases where the right of withdrawal does not apply to food products:

  • Perishable foods: Products that expire quickly or require special storage conditions (e.g., fresh products, refrigerated products)
  • Unsealed products: Food products that have been opened or unsealed for hygiene reasons
  • Custom-made products: Food products that were prepared or customized specifically for you
  • Mixed/Blended products: Products that have been mixed or combined to order
  • Expired products: Products that have expired or are nearing their expiry date
  • Products without a safety seal: When the safety seal has been tampered with

💡 Note: For reasons of hygiene and food safety, we only accept returns when products are sealed, unused, and in excellent condition.

Refunds

The refund will be issued using the same payment method (where possible), after we receive and inspect the product.

📌 Important:

  • Return within 14 days of declaring withdrawal
  • Initial shipping cost (standard option) is also refunded
  • Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless the product is defective/incorrect
  • For cash on delivery and bank transfer, please provide your account details
  • Food products are checked for sealing, expiry date, and condition

Defective or Incorrect Product

If you received an incorrect product or a defective product (e.g., damaged packaging, expired product, spoiled product), contact us immediately at info@melikaredi.gr stating your order number and, if possible, photos of the problem.

⚡ Immediate action: In cases of defective or incorrect products, the return process and costs are handled by us. We will send you a replacement or issue a full refund.

Note: This policy applies to purchases made from the melikaredi.gr online store. The right of withdrawal applies when the customer is a consumer (and not purchasing for purely professional use). For food products, special hygiene and safety conditions apply in accordance with current legislation.
